The Role

We are seeking a qualified Psychotherapist to join the NC National Guard’s Integrated Behavioral Health System (IBHS) team in High Point. You’ll provide direct clinical support to service members and their families, offering psychological assessment, therapy, and crisis intervention.

This is a full-time role with an average of 40 hours per week, including participation in the IBHS 24/7 helpline rota and occasional travel to nearby military sites or events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person and virtual therapy using evidence-based methods (e.g., EMDR, CPT, PE)
• Carry out psychological assessments and develop treatment plans
• Maintain detailed and compliant records within the secure IBHS EMR
• Support the 24/7 helpline through shared on-call duties
• Contribute to outreach events, debriefings, and briefings when needed
• Collaborate with support teams, community resources, and military command structures

The Person

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health or social science field
• NC independent license as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
• Minimum 3 years’ post-licensure experience
• Proficient in clinical assessment and trauma-focused therapy
• Familiar with military environments and flexible in working across locations
• Organized, reliable, and committed to high clinical standards
