Human Resources Manager – Manufacturing - $100k-$130k - Gridley, IL

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and strategy within our manufacturing facility. This role is central to creating a supportive, safe, and engaged workplace, ensuring HR practices are aligned with business goals and legislative requirements.

In this role, you will oversee all HR functions, from employee relations and compliance to workforce planning and training. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while remaining approachable and visible to staff at all levels. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining our safety standards and supporting continuous improvement across the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance on employment law, HR policies, and compliance.
• Build meaningful employee relationships and resolve workplace issues.
• Support recruitment efforts for hourly and salaried roles.
• Maintain HR records and oversee benefits, payroll support, and 401(k) coordination.
• Lead onboarding, training initiatives, and succession planning.
• Administer leave processes (FMLA, disability, workers' compensation).
• Collaborate with safety and operations teams to ensure a safe workplace.
• Analyze HR metrics to support strategic planning.
• Assist with audits and policy updates.
• Represent HR in cross-functional meetings and act as a stand-in for the Director of Talent when needed.

The Person

• Previous HR management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Confident communicator and team player with excellent organizational skills
• Skilled in Paycom and MS Office
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make informed decisions
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business (preferred)
• SHRM or equivalent certification (highly desirable)
