Jewish Services Provider – Part-Time Contract - $50 per hour, commensurate with experience - Philadelphia, PA

The role

FDC Philadelphia is seeking a part-time Jewish Services Provider to deliver Jewish religious services at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia, PA. This is a 1099 contract position offering 2 hours per week. The contract period is 4 years.

The successful provider will deliver services in line with the contract requirements and the agreed schedule.

Key Responsibilities

You will be expected to:

• Provide Jewish religious services for individuals at FDC Philadelphia
• Deliver services in a professional, respectful and appropriate manner
• Work within the requirements of a secure federal detention environment
• Follow the agreed scope of work and service schedule
• Maintain reliability and punctuality for all agreed sessions
• Communicate appropriately with the relevant site contacts

The person

We are looking for someone with suitable experience in Jewish religious services, along with the maturity and judgement needed to work in a secure environment.

You should be dependable, respectful and able to work within agreed procedures. You will also need to be comfortable delivering services on site at FDC Philadelphia.

Experience working in correctional, institutional, community or chaplaincy settings would be helpful, although full requirements should be reviewed against the contract scope.
