Traugott Building Contractors is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to lead commercial, retail, institutional, and mixed-use construction projects across Calgary and Southern Alberta.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on construction leader who takes pride in delivering quality projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You'll oversee all on-site operations from mobilization through final handover, working closely with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day site operations from start to finish.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and site logistics.
  • Maintain project schedules and proactively manage risks and delays.
  • Ensure all work meets drawings, specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections, safety meetings, and hazard assessments.
  • Manage site documentation, progress reporting, and deficiency tracking.
  • Coordinate inspections, commissioning, occupancy requirements, and project close-out.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of construction experience, including at least 5 years as a Site Superintendent.
  • Proven success delivering commercial, retail, institutional, industrial, residential, or mixed-use projects from mobilization through turnover.
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, trade coordination, and Alberta building practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Procore and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and willingness to travel to project sites throughout Southern and Central Alberta.
  • Preferred: Gold Seal Certification, CSTS 2020, First Aid, WHMIS, Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform Certification, or equivalent safety credentials.
