RESPONSIBILITIES The Electrical Systems Technician I performs highly skilled work on a wide variety of tasks involving industrial electrical, electro-mechanical and electronic equipment. Requires considerable skill and knowledge to perform the maintenance, repair, and installation work of electrical and electro-mechanical equipment as needed to maintain a modern Water Reclamation Plant and collection systems facilities. Works independently and is expected to solve both routine and most complex problems without guidance. Coordinates with and supports other sections and organizational functions as required. The Electrical Systems Technician II performs the maintenance, repair, and installation work of electrical and electro-mechanical equipment as needed to maintain a modern Water Reclamation Plant and collection systems facilities. Works with limited supervision and is expected to solve routine problems without guidance. Coordinates with and supports other sections and organizational functions as required. The incumbent will be exposed to a wastewater biological and chemical hazardous environment. May be exposed to medium voltage on occasion. Performs other work as assigned. REQUIREMENTS
