IT Coordinator – Construction Technology Project Coordinator (TPC) - $123k to $131k + Benefits

PMCS Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Coordinator / Technology Project Coordinator (TPC) to support the successful delivery of large-scale technology and infrastructure projects within a construction and capital improvement environment.

Key Responsibilities

As the Technology Project Coordinator, you will support Technology Project Managers by coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, managing schedules, and helping ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Projects may include:

  • Networking & communications infrastructure

  • Wireless and cellular deployments

  • Physical security systems (IP cameras & access control)

  • VoIP and IP-based communications

  • Enterprise device deployments

  • Server and endpoint infrastructure

  • Asset management and technical inventory tracking

Project Coordination Duties

  • Support coordination of 5–10 projects simultaneously

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting

  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, and meeting minutes

  • Assist with project scheduling and task tracking

  • Organize project folders and technical documentation

  • Prepare project reports and presentations

  • Track project risks and assist with mitigation planning

  • Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams

  • Support budget and schedule tracking

  • Assist with change order reviews and evaluations

  • Coordinate project submittals and approvals

  • Support project closeout activities

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience coordinating and managing multiple IT projects

  • Experience working within capital improvement or construction-related programs

  • Experience integrating technology into construction and engineering projects

  • Experience supporting multiple IT projects of varying size and complexity

  • Familiarity with the full project lifecycle including planning, design, execution, and closeout

  • Experience supporting technologies including:

    • Networks / Server / VoIP / CCTV / AV systems / Wireless infrastructure / Storage solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technology or project management certifications

  • Familiarity with bidding and contracting processes

  • Experience working with publicly funded programs

  • Experience facilitating end-user training sessions

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment. Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills are essential.
