Financial Controller– $120,000-$140,000 – Armstrong, Iowa ON-SITE

You will take ownership of the company’s financial health while working closely with the General Manager and Divisional Finance Director. This is a varied position where you will oversee finance, accounting, treasury, legal coordination and IT.

You will play a key role in driving performance, improving processes and ensuring strong financial visibility. You will also lead a small, capable team, giving you the chance to develop others while strengthening your own leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

         ·         Oversee the short- and long-term financial performance of the business

         ·         Ensure all financial processes meet corporate policy and GAAP standards

         ·         Manage cash flow and treasury activities effectively

         ·         Develop reporting systems to track performance against budgets and prior years

         ·         Lead the annual budgeting process, including sales, costs, and capital spend

         ·         Work with auditors to review financial records and operations

         ·         Liaise with legal and tax authorities to meet regulatory requirements

         ·         Monitor working capital and capital expenditure

         ·         Support continuous improvement and cost reduction activities

         ·         Oversee the IT function to ensure systems support business needs

The Person

         ·         Degree in Finance or Accounting

         ·         Around 10 years’ relevant experience, including 4+ years in a leadership role

         ·         Background in a manufacturing environment

         ·         Strong understanding of financial controls, reporting, and compliance

         ·         Confident managing teams and working cross-functionally

         ·         Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day detail
