Key Responsibilities:

• Organise and manage monthly religious education and sacramental preparation classes
• Recruit, support, and guide volunteer catechists and staff
• Deliver lessons where needed and ensure continuity of teaching
• Plan key events such as Christmas programmes and Vacation Bible School
• Maintain accurate records, schedules, and attendance reports
• Prepare newsletters, bulletins, and community communications
• Manage programme resources, supplies, and budgets in line with guidelines
• Attend meetings and work closely with chapel leadership and committees
• Ensure all activities meet Catholic liturgical norms and compliance requirements

The Person:

• Hold a degree in education, theology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Be an approved Catechist with the Archdiocese for the Military Services
• Have at least two years’ experience in education, administration, or programme coordination
• Be confident using Microsoft Office and online communication tools
• Communicate clearly and work well within a diverse, interfaith environment
• Be organised, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
