The Role

PEP the Printers, a reputable and family-run business with over 44 years of experience in the printing industry, is seeking a Print Consultant to join our dedicated team based in Worthing. We pride ourselves in being 'the longest running family print firm in town,' with an exceptional record of exceeding customer expectations through top-notch service and high-quality products.

Please note this is a full-time position, based at our Worthing shop Monday to Friday 9am until 5.30pm. You will manage customer expectations, handle job scheduling, oversee print quality control, and contribute directly to our printing and finishing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establishing a friendly rapport with customers within the shop front environment.
  • Taking responsibility for project management, including job flow scheduling and control.
  • Managing and ordering required stock.
  • Communicating regularly with clients and team members, updating them about job progress via email and phone.
  • Checking the quality of finished jobs and approving them for delivery.
  • Arranging delivery of jobs to their final destinations.

The Person

  • Exceptional organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong team player with effective listening and influencing abilities.
  • Proactive attitude with a flexible approach to work.
  • Prior experience in the print business, particularly with digital printers and finishing equipment, is preferred but not required.
  • It's not required, but it's a plus if you have experience with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
