Frizzell Wealth Management in Wallingford is growing. This opportunity is ideal for a fully qualified Paraplanner who wants greater ownership of cases, exposure to high-value planning work and clear scope to strengthen their professional standing.

The role

You will play a central role in supporting advisers by delivering technically robust and compliant financial planning documentation.

By working on complex cases, including asset-rich clients, you will deepen your product knowledge and strengthen your regulatory understanding. Your analysis and structured reports will directly support high-quality advice.

If you have experience within St. James's Place, this would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Produce detailed financial planning reports that demonstrate your technical strength
  • Draft suitability letters that clearly reflect well-structured advice
  • Take full ownership of cases from research to completion, building confidence and autonomy
  • Work directly with providers and clients, enhancing your communication and influence
  • Manage your own pipeline, improving efficiency and accountability
  • Ensure every file meets regulatory standards, protecting and strengthening your reputation

The person

You will be a fully qualified Paraplanner with experience in a regulated firm - you must hold a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Services, such as the DipPFS Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning awarded by the Simply Academy or an equivalent qualification.

You will also bring:

  • Strong technical knowledge of financial products and regulation
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • The ability to manage deadlines calmly and independently
