The Role

We are recruiting a Protestant Religious Education Coordinator to support the chapel community at Grand Forks Air Force Base. This is a part-time, contract-based position ideal for someone with a background in ministry, faith-based education or church leadership who enjoys both planning and hands-on delivery.

As the Protestant Religious Education Coordinator, you will organise and deliver structured religious education that is inclusive, well-run and aligned with Air Force chapel guidance. From scheduling classes to supporting volunteers and preparing resources, you will ensure each session runs smoothly and has real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate Protestant religious education programmes for children, youth and adults
  • Organise schedules, classrooms, materials and volunteers
  • Deliver or oversee lessons, studies and activities
  • Work closely with the Wing Chaplain and Chaplain in Charge (CIC)
  • Maintain attendance records and programme documentation
  • Ensure all activities meet chapel policies and safeguarding standards
  • Prepare facilities and resources for weekly sessions and special events

The Person
