The Role

We are seeking a Master Musician Coordinator to provide high-quality musical support to worship services and special events across the USAG Rheinland-Pfalz community. This is a non-personal services contract supporting the Chaplain’s Religious Support Programme, helping Soldiers, families and authorised civilians take part in meaningful services.

As the Master Musician Coordinator, you will arrange and deliver music that enhances each service. You will organise musicians, plan rehearsals and ensure every piece is prepared to a professional standard. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide and coordinate musicians for worship services and special events
  • Perform preludes, interludes, offertories and postludes
  • Accompany congregational singing, choirs, soloists and ensembles
  • Schedule and lead rehearsals ahead of services
  • Supply and manage required equipment, tools and materials
  • Develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan to ensure consistent standards
  • Report issues promptly and maintain accurate records
  • Deliver services across both Baumholder and Kaiserslautern communities

The Person:

The ideal Master Musician Coordinator will be organised, reliable and confident working independently.

You will have:

  • Strong musical performance and accompaniment skills
  • Experience coordinating musicians or ensembles
  • Good planning and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple services and deadlines
  • A professional and respectful approach within faith settings
