Catholic Administrative Religious Education Coordinator - $18-$20/hr - Fort Sill, Oklahoma

 Are you experienced in supporting Catholic faith-based programs? Do you enjoy providing organized, administrative assistance that strengthens religious communities?

The Role
We are seeking a Catholic Administrative Religious Education Coordinator to support the Fort Benning Religious Support Office (RSO). This position assists the Catholic Chaplain and Priest with the coordination and support of religious services, programs, and events, following Roman Catholic Church guidelines and military policies.

This is a non-personal services contract position. The work schedule varies, including evenings, weekends, and religious holidays, based on the approved Calendar of Events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare for Mass services by organizing liturgical books, Sacred Vessels, and Eucharistic elements

  • Attend 100% of weekly parish meetings

  • Develop a monthly Catholic Community calendar

  • Maintain and update the Catholic Community registration

  • Create and distribute weekly bulletins and announcements

  • Coordinate community events and manage publicity materials

  • Prepare sacramental records in the AMS portal

  • Support quarterly AMS clergy reports

  • Track and report attendance at community events

This role is provided through a service contract supporting the Chaplain's Religious Support Program at Fort Sill. The mission is to provide consistent religious support to Soldiers, Families, and authorized civilians, ensuring the free exercise of religion for the Catholic community.

The Person
The ideal candidate will:

  • Be familiar with Roman Catholic traditions, sacraments, and liturgy

  • Have experience in administrative support, event coordination, or parish life

  • Be highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented

  • Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team

  • Be willing to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays

  • Have or be able to obtain required security clearances for access to Fort Benning
