About Traugott

Traugott Building Contractors Inc. is a growing ICI general contractor delivering complex projects across healthcare, long-term care, industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors. We pride ourselves on strong planning, collaboration, and execution — and we’re looking for a Construction Scheduler who brings both technical expertise and practical field understanding.

The Opportunity

This is a replacement role supporting Traugott’s ongoing project portfolio in Ontario.

The Construction Scheduler plays a critical role in developing, maintaining, and communicating project schedules that support successful delivery. This role works closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, Consultants, and Trade Partners to ensure schedules are realistic, coordinated, and aligned with construction sequencing, design information, and procurement.

This position requires strong scheduling fundamentals combined with CAD and BIM coordination experience to support constructability, phasing, and schedule-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed baseline and live construction schedules from preconstruction through closeout
  • Prepare and update CPM schedules, including logic ties, milestones, and critical path analysis
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to validate sequencing, durations, and work plans
  • Integrate procurement, shop drawings, long-lead items, and design deliverables into schedules
  • Support delay analysis, schedule recovery planning, and impact assessments
  • Produce clear schedule narratives, look-ahead schedules, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate schedules with CAD drawings and BIM models to support construction phasing, logistics planning, and clash avoidance
  • Work with consultants and trade partners to align BIM deliverables with construction timelines
  • Participate in project meetings and provide schedule-driven insights and recommendations
  • Support claims avoidance through accurate documentation and schedule controls

Compensation

  • Salary starting at $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience
  • Competitive benefits package
  • Annual Performance Bonus

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction scheduling within ICI environments
  • Strong proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6 and/or MS Project)
  • Working knowledge of CPM scheduling principles and construction sequencing
  • Experience coordinating schedules with CAD drawings and BIM models
  • Familiarity with BIM platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of construction means and methods
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities

Preferred Assets

  • Experience supporting healthcare, long-term care, or institutional projects
  • Exposure to 4D scheduling and model-based sequencing
  • Experience working with Procore or similar construction management platforms
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

Why Join Traugott

  • Work on meaningful, complex projects with experienced teams
  • Collaborative, professional, and people-first culture
  • Opportunity to influence project outcomes through strong planning
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package
  • Growth and development opportunities as the company continues to expand
