Payroll & Pensions Officer Location: Headquarters, Northallerton Hours: Full Time Salary: up to £29, 859 depending on experience Role Profile Our Support Service functions work in collaboration across North Yorkshire Police and North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service, providing vital shared expertise to deliver efficient and effective service to our communities. We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Pensions Officer to play a key role in delivering accurate and timely monthly employee payments and supporting the effective operation of our payroll and pensions functions. This is a vital position within the Force, ensuring our services remain compliant, efficient, and high‑quality. Working within a knowledgeable and supportive team, you will collaborate with colleagues across departments, engage with external partners, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes. While support will be available, this role is well‑suited to someone who brings prior experience in payroll, pensions, or a similar transactional processing environment and is confident working with complex information.
