Catholic Administrative Religious Education Coordinator (Part‑Time)
Fort Jackson, SC | 1099 | $18–$20/hr | 20 hrs/week

Are you experienced in organizing religious education programs? Do you have strong administrative and coordination skills within a Catholic community setting?
We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented individual to support Catholic Religious Education and Pastoral Life activities at U.S. Army Garrison Fort Jackson. This role works closely with the Catholic Chaplain and Priest to ensure efficient coordination of education, pastoral support functions, and community engagement in accordance with Church and military guidelines.

The role

As the Catholic Administrative Religious Education Coordinator, you will support the planning and execution of Catholic religious education and pastoral life services. You will ensure calendars, program materials, communication, and records are prepared and maintained on time. You will assist with regular and seasonal programs, report preparation, and community outreach tasks.

This is a part‑time, non‑personal services contract.
Contract period: 1 March 2026 – 28 February 2027 (with four optional extension years).

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Attend required monthly meetings to gather program details

  • Produce and distribute monthly Catholic calendars of events

  • Prepare facility requests, flyers, and attendance reports

  • Organize program materials and supplies for classes and seasonal events

  • Maintain sacramental records and submit them through the AMS portal

  • Prepare liturgical documents for Mass services

  • Update and maintain the Catholic community census

  • Provide content for weekly bulletins and public announcements

  • Assist with quarterly clergy reporting

  • Maintain a monthly work log and submit invoices on time
