Catholic Administrative Pastoral Life Coordinator - Fort Bliss, TX

The Role

We are seeking a Catholic Administrative Pastoral Life Coordinator to support the Catholic Chaplain and Priest at Fort Bliss, TX. This part-time role (15 hours per week) focuses on coordinating and administering religious support activities for the Catholic community in accordance with military and Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) policies.

This is a 1099 contract position with a pay rate of $18-$20/hour, depending on experience. The contract includes a base year, four optional years, and a potential six-month extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare liturgical books and Eucharistic elements for Mass

  • Maintain registration records and attendance for the Catholic community

  • Develop a monthly calendar of events and weekly bulletins

  • Assist in preparing sacramental records and supporting documentation

  • Attend monthly pastoral meetings and coordinate facility reservations

  • Design publicity materials for events and ensure timely submission

  • Submit monthly and quarterly reports as required

About Our Company

This opportunity is offered through a government contract with the Fort Bliss Garrison Religious Support Office (RSO). The position supports the Chaplains’ Religious Support Program, which ensures the free exercise of religion for soldiers, families, and authorized civilians.
