The Role

As Senior Manager, Property Services, you will take the lead on the day-to-day operation of all Fred Victor owned and leased properties across Toronto and the GTA. This is a varied, hands-on leadership role where no two days look the same. You will ensure buildings are safe, compliant and well maintained, while supporting teams who rely on these spaces to deliver vital services.

The Senior Manager, Property Services works closely with the Associate Director, balancing operational priorities, people leadership and financial oversight. You will be trusted to make sound decisions, especially when issues arise unexpectedly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the smooth operation of all building systems, including life safety, HVAC and elevators.
  • Ensure permits, licences and inspections remain current and compliant.
  • Lead, support and guide Property Services Managers, facilities staff and contractors.
  • Act as part of a 24/7 on-call rota and respond calmly to emergencies when required.
  • Plan, review and monitor maintenance schedules and work orders.
  • Manage contractors and suppliers to agreed standards and timelines.
  • Support operating, maintenance and capital budgets alongside senior colleagues.
  • Liaise with external bodies such as city departments, fire services and regulators.

The Person:

  • Qualification in Facility or Property Management.
  • At least five years’ experience in a senior property or facilities role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, compliance and safety standards.
  • Confident people manager who communicates clearly and calmly.
  • Comfortable managing budgets and multiple priorities.
  • Full G driving licence and access to a vehicle.
