Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
  • Carry out major repairs on engines, transmissions, braking, and electrical systems.
  • Work confidently on both domestic and foreign vehicle models.
  • Support and guide junior technicians and apprentices.
  • Complete clear and accurate repair orders and service records.
  • Keep up to date with modern vehicle systems and workshop tools.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Explain completed work to customers in a clear and helpful way.
  • Follow all local, state, and federal regulations.

The Person

  • At least 5 years’ experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
  • Recognised Master Mechanic certification (ASE preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Clear communication skills with both colleagues and customers
  • Valid driving licence and ability to meet physical job demands
  • A genuine interest in learning and staying current with vehicle technology
