The Role
As our new Technical CAD Drafter in Shelby, NC, you'll turn design ideas into detailed construction drawings that directly guide how buildings are built. You’ll support licensed Architects by documenting plans that are clear, code-aware, and ready for construction. From government to commercial builds, your work will help bring projects to life—accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Create clear Architectural drawings and Life Safety plans used in actual builds
• Update plans with redlines, consultant input, and site info so nothing gets missed
• Organize project files to keep everything running smoothly
• Work closely with Architects and engineers to turn designs into buildable plans
• Use your understanding of codes and standards under Architect guidance
