The role

You’ll lead one of our (EBD) residential homes, creating a safe, nurturing space where children can thrive. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, develop your team, and ensure the highest standards of care. With full autonomy and strong support from our senior team, you’ll steer the home to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a strong, motivated team that delivers excellent care and support
  • Create a safe, welcoming home where children feel secure and listened to
  • Lead safeguarding and risk management to keep everyone protected
  • Work closely with families, schools, and professionals to get the best outcomes
  • Take ownership of rotas, staffing, training, and on-call duties
  • Stay inspection-ready and confident in meeting all regulatory standards
  • Manage the budget, track progress, and drive continuous improvements

The person

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it)
  • At least 5 years’ recent experience working with children
  • Management or team leadership experience in a residential setting
  • Confident handling safeguarding and care planning
  • Strong team player with great communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence required
