You’ll take the lead in shaping a warm, engaging space for our youngest children to explore, learn and grow. With the support of a close-knit team and a kind management group, you’ll have the chance to build strong relationships with families and staff alike.

This is a full-time role, with shifts between 7.15am and 6.15pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Create fun, meaningful experiences that support babies’ development
• Lead and guide a small, dedicated team in the Caterpillars room
• Track progress and share updates with parents and carers
• Keep our environment safe, inclusive and welcoming
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety policies
• Join in team meetings and continuous learning opportunities

The person

This role would suit someone who:

• Holds a Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years and Childcare
• Has experience working in a nursery or similar setting
• Has led a team or feels ready to take on that challenge
• Understands what under 2s need to feel safe and happy (training available)
• Is a clear communicator and a team player
• Brings warmth, care and commitment to every day
