Crane Operator (CDL Required) – $36-$40/hr + Benefits – Baltimore, MD

The Role

You’ll be operating hydraulic truck cranes and boom trucks to move roofing, glass, and façade materials on commercial construction sites throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently, following all manufacturer and OSHA/ANSI guidelines
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain accurate logs
• Set up, level, and secure cranes on-site
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations for vehicle operation and maintenance
• Assist with rigging and material handling as needed
• Report safety issues or equipment concerns promptly
• Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks

The Person

• Valid CDL Class A or B license
• At least 2 years of crane operation experience on construction sites
• NCCCO certification (or similar)
• Strong knowledge of load charts, rigging, and hand signals
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
• Experience with roofing, glazing, or cladding materials is a plus
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills are helpful
• OSHA 10 or 30-Hour Construction certification is preferred
