The Role

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time position reporting to the Vice President of Field Operations. You’ll be operating hydraulic truck cranes and boom trucks to move roofing, glass, and façade materials on commercial construction sites throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently, following all manufacturer and OSHA/ANSI guidelines
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain accurate logs
  • Set up, level, and secure cranes on-site
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations for vehicle operation and maintenance
  • Assist with rigging and material handling as needed
  • Report safety issues or equipment concerns promptly
  • Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks

The Person

  • Valid CDL Class A or B license
  • At least 2 years of crane operation experience on construction sites
  • NCCCO certification (or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of load charts, rigging, and hand signals
  • Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
  • Experience with roofing, glazing, or cladding materials is a plus
  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills are helpful
  • OSHA 10 or 30-Hour Construction certification is preferred
