Process Operator – Circa £30,000* after training per year – Tonbridge, Kent

The Role

Drytec Spray Drying Ltd is one of the UK's leading dry powder manufacturers. We are looking for a new Process Operator to join our skilled and supportive production team.

You'll receive full training to safely operate, set up, and clean our commercial spray dryers. You will be manufacturing dry powder products for a wide range of customers. Once your initial training is complete at our Tonbridge factory, you will join one of our shift teams, continuing your development under the guidance of a Shift Supervisor.

This is a hands-on role that includes basic lab testing, equipment maintenance, and learning industry-specific processes. Some heavy lifting is involved, so you must be physically able to carry 25kg product bags.

Shift patterns include:

  • Day shifts: 06:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00
  • Night shift: 22:00 to 06:00 (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating and maintaining commercial spray drying equipment.
  • Performing basic laboratory tests.
  • Following safety and hygiene procedures.
  • Completing shift records and quality checks.
  • Cleaning and preparing machinery for production.

  • Has some work experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
