We are looking for an Object Handling & Logistics Assistant to join our UK Logistics team. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards, ensuring that every item is handled, inspected, packed and dispatched with care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carefully handle and pack items using specialist methods
  • Check the condition of items and report any issues
  • Maintain packaging and shipping supply levels
  • Locate and prepare stock for photography, shipping, exhibitions and storage
  • Assist with large-scale auctions and live event days
  • Solve logistical issues and respond to urgent requests
  • Work closely with other departments to support smooth operations

The Person

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has great attention to detail and takes pride in doing things properly
  • Works well both independently and in a team
  • Is proactive, organised and calm under pressure
  • Can lift and move items safely and is happy to follow health & safety procedures
  • Has good communication skills and basic IT knowledge
  • Ideally has experience in logistics, warehousing or packing (not essential)
  • A forklift licence is a bonus, but not required
