The Role

Are you an experienced Family Law Solicitor ready to manage your own caseload? Do you have the confidence to represent clients in court and the skills to deliver high standards of client care?

Charsley Harrison LLP is a well-established firm known for delivering trusted advice across commercial and private client matters. We are looking for a qualified and capable Family Law Solicitor to join our expanding team.

You’ll take ownership of a varied private family law caseload, working closely with clients from initial instruction through to resolution. You’ll be supported by a legal secretary/paralegal and report directly to the Head of Family Law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cases involving divorce, financial disputes, children matters, separation and nuptial agreements, care proceedings, and domestic abuse
  • Prepare for and represent clients at hearings and court
  • Maintain high standards of risk management and compliance
  • Promote the firm’s values and strong local reputation
  • Contribute to the team through knowledge sharing and collaboration

The Person

  • At least 2 years PQE in Private Family Law
  • Strong track record across the full range of private family matters
  • Confident in advocacy and court appearances
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team
  • Sound IT and case management experience
  • A proactive, detail-focused, and approachable individual
