AutoCAD Draftsman – Competitive Salary – South Arica / Remote

The Role

Are you experienced in AutoCAD drafting? Do you have an eye for detail and the ability to turn complex designs into clear, buildable plans?

Omnis Panels is seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our team. This is a full-time, remote role focusing on technical drawings for building envelope projects, particularly rainscreen systems.

You will be responsible for producing accurate shop drawings, fabrication details, and bills of materials for construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers, you will ensure designs are practical, precise, and aligned with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Prepare clear and accurate shop drawings using AutoCAD and, where needed, Revit.
• Creating Bills of Materials
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to create fabrication details.
• Revise existing drawings to reflect design changes.
• Coordinate with project teams to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and client requirements.
• Assist with material take-offs and submittal packages.
• Support project meetings and drawing scope reviews.

The Person

• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and building envelope systems.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
• 1–3 years of professional drafting experience.
• Relevant degree or certificate in Drafting, CAD Technology, or similar.
