The Role
Patons Insurance is looking for a Fleet Support Advisor to join our commercial team in Liverpool. You’ll be supporting a portfolio of fleet and multi-vehicle clients, helping manage their policies from onboarding through to mid-term changes and renewals. This is a varied, customer-focused role where attention to detail and excellent communication are key. You’ll work closely with fleet managers, underwriters, and your colleagues to ensure each client receives clear advice and prompt support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our fleet managers to ensure seamless onboarding and account support for our growing portfolio of fleet, multi vehicle and commercial motor clients.
  • Handle day-to-day queries and enquiries from clients and insurers via phone and email, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and policy administration systems, tracking deadlines and renewal dates.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, and internal colleagues to resolve complex cover queries and policy issues.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, building trust and long-lasting client relationships through regular reviews and proactive communication.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes affecting fleet operations.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and Insurers.
  • Ensure data is recorded in an accurate and consistent format.
  • Cross selling a range of Commercial Insurance services into our customers.
  • Maintain all internal processes and procedures in line with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.

The Person

  • 2+ years’ experience in a commercial insurance support role, such as account handler or account manager.
  • Experience with fleet or multi-vehicle policies is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail and confident using CRM or policy systems.
  • A problem-solver with a client-focused approach.
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
