The Role

Do you have experience leading contemporary Christian worship services? Can you create a worshipful environment with volunteer musicians from diverse backgrounds?

We’re looking for a Protestant Music Director to serve the RAF Mildenhall Protestant Parish. This contractor role involves leading and coordinating music for the Contemporary Service, working closely with the chapel staff and volunteers to provide a meaningful worship experience.

You’ll lead music during weekly services and rehearsals, plan song selections in coordination with chaplains and musicians, and guide a team of volunteer performers. You’ll ensure a respectful, inclusive environment for participants from all denominations and maintain a professional and organized music ministry.

This is a part-time, 1099 contract position for 113 units per year averaging 3–5 hours per week.

If you meet the criteria and are interested in supporting the RAF Mildenhall Protestant community, we’d love to hear from you. Please submit your resume, two professional references, and be prepared for a video or in-person technical interview.

Apply today to help lead our worship team into its next chapter.

Please note: Candidates selected for an interview will be required to provide supporting documents, such as degree certificates, transcripts, and professional certifications.

Position contingent upon contract award.
