Accuma Corporation, a global leader in molded battery components, is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our Statesville, NC team. As a Process Technician, you will play a critical role in the set-up, troubleshooting, and efficient operation of injection molding machines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient setup and processing of injection molding machines. You will monitor quality, maintain productivity, and ensure all standards are met in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure product quality and compliance with standard cycles and processes
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment
  • Follow quality procedures to meet product specifications
  • Develop processes for new products
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and write basic programs for robots
  • Troubleshoot processing issues and make adjustments to meet quality standards
  • Assist with mold changeovers and setup
  • Enter production and quality information into company systems
  • Coordinate shift handoffs, ensuring proper communication of process changes
  • Assist with preventative maintenance activities on machines

The Person

We are looking for a Process Technician who:

  • Has at least 5 years of experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment
  • Holds a High School diploma or GED (Technical Associate degree is preferred)
  • Possesses strong math and writing skills
  • Has hands-on experience with injection molding equipment and processes
  • Is familiar with ISO requirements and standards in a production environment
  • Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and make process improvements
  • Is committed to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace
