• Install solar panels and support structures according to design specifications and building codes

• Measure, cut, and assemble the support structure for solar PV panels

• Ensure the system is grounded and installed to code

• Connect solar panels to the electrical system with proper wiring

• Use ladders, scaffolding, and aerial platforms to access installation sites safely

• Perform routine quality checks and troubleshooting during and after installation

• Work in compliance with company safety policies and provincial/federal regulations

• Maintain accurate records of materials used and project progress

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in solar or construction installation preferred

• Valid WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) certification

• Valid Aerial Work Platform (AWP) / Elevated Work Platform certification (e.g., scissor lift, boom lift)

• Working at Heights certification (preferred)

• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor

• Strong understanding of construction safety practices

• Basic electrical knowledge is an asset

• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
