Nursery Room Leader – £30,000 - £33,000 depending on experience – Parsons Green, London

The Role

Do you have experience in early years education and the ability to support and inspire a team? Are you looking for a leadership role in a nursery that values high-quality care and learning?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery who is looking for a dedicated Room Leader to join our team in Parsons Green.

In this role, you will support the Leadership team in overseeing the daily operations, ensuring high standards of care and education. You will help lead a team of early years professionals, creating a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work flexibly as part of a larger team, assisting and supporting colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
• Support and guide staff to deliver outstanding childcare and learning experiences.
• Work closely with parents and carers, building strong relationships and maintaining open communication.
• Help ensure the nursery provides a safe, stimulating, and well-organised environment.
• Lead by example in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Support staff training and development to encourage professional growth.

The Person

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in an early years setting, either as a room leader or Is ready to step up into a room leader position.
• Holds a relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 or above).
• Understands EYFS requirements and safeguarding procedures.
• Can support and motivate a team to deliver high-quality childcare.
• Is confident in working with parents, carers, and external agencies.
