Supplier Specialist / Inside Sales – Electronics – $60K to $95K base + bonus – Blaine, MN(Hybrid)

The Role

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Supplier Specialist / Inside Sales Specialist to join our growing team at Johnson Company. This role plays a vital part in supporting our sales strategy, working closely with manufacturers, channel partners, customers, and internal teams to drive commercial success.

In this role, you’ll ensure seamless coordination between our principal manufacturing lines and our outside sales team and channel partners.  You will play a hands-on role of supporting our technical sales and long-term growth with proactive management and data driven insights to our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Inside Sales

  • Own lead follow-up for unassigned accounts and target new sales for selected manufacturers
  • Collaborate with Outside Sales to support strategic accounts and increase market coverage

Sales & Marketing Support

  • Identify product promotions and contribute ideas to marketing campaigns
  • Assist with sample requests, quoting, and technical queries
  • Help with design registrations and split-tracking documentation

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain CRM accuracy and support opportunity tracking
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on sales performance

Technical Engagement

  • Understand customer applications and clearly communicate product benefits
  • Coordinate cross-referencing with engineering for technical product needs

Collaboration & Communication

  • Align with Outside Sales on key account strategy
  • Maintain communication with distributors and manufacturer partners

The Person

  • Experience in electronic components, sensors, or technical sales preferred
  • Skilled in CRM systems (Salesforce knowledge is an advantage)
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills
  • Naturally curious with a proactive and collaborative approach
  • Marketing degree with some sales experience in a related field (preferred)
