Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design projects from start to finish
• Develop complete product designs and individual components
• Solve engineering problems with practical, effective solutions
• Support prototype and pre-commercial product development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet design goals
• Use CAD and FEA tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS) for design and analysis
• Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing and industrial use
• Create detailed documentation, reports, and design specifications

The Person

We’re looking for someone who is:

• A strong team player with leadership skills
• Skilled in mechanical and machine design
• Experienced in product development and design for manufacture
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
• Capable of handling technical challenges in a fast-moving setting

Required qualifications:

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical design
• Proficient in SolidWorks and FEA tools (preferably ANSYS)
• Must be a U.S. citizen
