Protestant Religious Services – $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience – Dugway, UT

The Role

Do you have experience leading Protestant worship services and providing spiritual guidance? Are you looking for a meaningful role that supports the faith of military personnel and their families?

We are seeking a Protestant Chapel Minister to provide religious services at Dugway Proving Ground on an as-needed basis. You will lead worship services, conduct special ceremonies, and offer pastoral support to military personnel, their families, and authorized civilians.

This is a part-time, 1099 contract position, over a 5-year contract term.

Position contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Sunday Worship Services and one Christmas service annually.
  • Conduct ordinances and sacraments specific to the Protestant faith.
  • Provide pastoral support to the Protestant community.
  • Coordinate with the Religious Support Office (RSO) for scheduling services.
  • Ensure services align with the Command Religious Plan.
  • Work within a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Person

We are looking for a Protestant Minister who can provide engaging and compassionate religious support. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ordination and good standing within a recognized Protestant denomination.
  • Experience leading worship services and pastoral care.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with the RSO.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of military culture (preferred, but not essential).
