Associate Director, Contract and Dispute Resolution –£65,000-£90,000 DOE + Bonus–Alderley Park, Cheshire

Working at Nexus, you will have the opportunity to lead exciting domestic and international commissions in the UK, Dubai and the Maldives. You will develop your skills in construction adjudication, contract and dispute management and expert witness reports, among other things.

Please note that this role will involve regular travel between your home, Alderley Park, and Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of Expert Witness Reports, Referrals and Responses in Adjudication.
• Writing contractual correspondence, drafting and assessing cost claims.
• Bringing in new business opportunities through industry contacts and networks.

The Person

• Experienced in construction contracts and claims, with a background in larger contract environments or dispute consultancy.
• Skilled in writing or assisting with expert witness reports, adjudication referrals and responses, and contractual correspondence.
• Either working towards or already holding an LLM in Construction Law, MRICS, or MCIArb qualifications.
• A proactive individual, with a desire to grow within the company.
• Connected within the industry and able to bring in new business opportunities.
