About Us:

TJ Refrigeration is a leader in providing commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical services. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and experience in handling the financial day-to-day operations of a business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Accurate Financial Records: Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and payments, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage invoicing, bill payments, and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure cash flow is maintained.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all financial records align with bank statements.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist in processing payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to provide management with a clear view of the company’s financial health.
  • VAT Returns and Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring the company complies with all relevant tax regulations.
  • Support the CFO and Senior Management: Provide financial insights and assistance with budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of VAT and payroll processing.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
