We are looking for an experienced Service Lead who can bring pace and determination to the Housing landlord Service role, working closely with Members and tenant groups to develop a proactive culture, drive improvements in the quality of the current housing stock, and respond to the needs and ambitions of our tenants by delivering customer-focused and proactive tenancy services.

Reporting to the Corporate Head of Housing this role will require vision and strategic leadership. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of delivering high performing services across all aspects of Housing Landlord Services with knowledge of the development, implementation and review of Housing Landlord Business Plans and Programmes.

The role requires good leadership skills to inspire staff, colleagues, and partner agencies to support delivery of the council’s housing service and to lead on the Housing Revenue Account business, and service planning within the context of the Council’s Corporate Pan.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate able to hit the ground running from day one and this role will appeal to candidates looking for a role with a wide range of strategic and operational responsibilities and someone who is able to work at a senior level with experience of working in the housing sector.
