Assistant Project Manager – Construction - $120,000–$130,000 - Pickering, Ontario

Are you experienced in guiding construction projects from start to finish? Do you enjoy coordinating teams, clients, and contractors to deliver outstanding results?

The Role

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Pickering team. You will support Project Managers on commercial, retail, hospitality, industrial, and mixed-use projects across the Greater Toronto Area. You will be the link between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams, helping projects run safely, on time, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and startup activities
  • Review drawings, contracts, and project requirements
  • Support tendering, procurement, and subcontractor evaluation
  • Track RFIs, submittals, change events, and project correspondence
  • Help maintain project schedules and documentation
  • Support budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
  • Coordinate client and stakeholder communication
  • Manage project closeout, including deficiencies, warranties, and documentation

The Person

You should have:

  • 5–8 years’ experience in construction project management
  • Strong knowledge of drawings, contracts, and project documentation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Organizational skills and problem-solving ability
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
