Executive Sales Manager - pay rate of $95,000 base salary and bonus eligibility of $10,000+ with Benefits – New Jersey

The role

We are looking for an Executive Sales Manager to help lead sales activity for a well-established crane and hoist business in Central New Jersey.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a small corporation, suited to someone who enjoys building customer relationships, solving technical problems, and turning opportunities into long-term business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound sales calls and follow up on qualified leads
  • Build trusted relationships with new and existing customers
  • Visit regional customer sites to understand their needs
  • Recommend hoists, winches, crane systems, parts, and service options
  • Prepare accurate customer quotes by working with vendors and internal teams
  • Coordinate with engineering, service, operations, and finance colleagues
  • Keep sales records up to date in the CRM system
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and new products
  • Share your knowledge to help strengthen the wider team

The person

You will bring:

  • At least 10 years of crane and hoist industry experience
  • A proven record in crane and hoist sales
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and imported industry brands
  • Familiarity with crane shop best practices, including mechanical, electrical, and fabrication work
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, NEC, ANSI, and CMAA as they apply to cranes and hoists
  • Confidence working with custom designs, engineers, and plant personnel
  • The ability to manage multiple projects while working well with colleagues
  • Experience with MS Office and the ability to learn new software
  • The ability to work onsite in Central New Jersey, with occasional overnight travel
  • Experience with contractor clients is a plus. A Bachelor of Science degree, especially in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering, is preferred.
