The Role

Are you an experienced industrial sales professional with an engineering or technical degree? Do you have a proven track record in selling automation solutions to industrial clients? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are a control and automation solutions provider, looking to appoint an experienced and technical Sales Representative to our growing team.

You will drive sales in the Orlando Entertainment business sector. This role involves achieving maximum sales revenue, profitability, and growth by effectively selling our automation solutions to industrial end users, OEMs, and systems integrators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
  • Makes telephone calls, emails and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers focused on the customer’s needs/issues.
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and to determine their potential and business needs.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinates sales effort with technical services group, logistics, sales management, and marketing.
  • Analyzes the territory/market’s potential for megatrends to identify the products/services that fit best.
  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
  • Supplies management with verbal and Salesforce.com reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.

The Person

  • 2-5 years previous industrial sales experience.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation and control solutions.
  • A four-year degree in engineering or a technical discipline – preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Results-driven and ambitious.
  • Excellent organization, time-management and communication skills.
  • Strong customer-focus and the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Strong computer skills including Salesforce, MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
