The role of a Design Team Lead (Packaging) is multifaceted, encompassing both creative design and team management responsibilities within the context of packaging solutions. At the heart of this role lies the responsibility to lead and inspire a team of designers, ensuring they produce high-quality, innovative designs that meet client requirements and align with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design for client projects, focusing on corrugated packaging, packaging processes, and pack area layouts.
• Conduct research and development bi-weekly meetings to explore new product ideas and services.
• Enhance the technical skill set of the team, fostering continuous learning and development.
• Support external sales teams with project support, layouts, and innovations, ensuring customer needs are met professionally.
• Utilize CAD design software to create innovative, cost-saving solutions for clients, from brief to finished samples and presentations.
• Manage task allocation within the Imagination Hub, ensuring quality control and timely delivery of all projects.
• Stay updated on the latest marketing programs and tools, such as Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
• Lead the team, ensuring deadlines are met, KPIs are reported weekly, and continuous improvement is cultivated through training and development initiatives.
