Social Media Executive (Freelance)–£15.00 per hour– Battersea, London/ Hybrid

The Role

We are a Battersea based bar and restaurant, looking to appoint an experienced and innovative Social Media Executive to our growing team.

You will play a key role in growing our online presence. You will collaborate closely with our bar and events team, ensuring our brand is showcased creatively across platforms like Instagram and TikTok. From crafting visually appealing content to managing community engagement, you’ll be the digital voice of our brand.

This is a part-time freelance opportunity, working 15 hours per week with 1 day on site and 1 day home working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and curating content across social media platforms, including planning, copywriting, and scheduling.
• Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to inquiries.
• Generate fresh, compelling ideas to boost our brand presence and audience engagement.
• Create visually appealing short videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and more.
• Stay updated on industry trends to optimize our social media strategy.
• Share behind-the-scenes content from events and photoshoots.
• Assist with marketing tasks, including blogs and newsletters.
• Engage with user-generated content and online communities related to food and dining.

The Person

• Recently graduated from a relevant degree program (Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, etc.) or have relevant work experience.
• Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in social media analytics tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) for creating engaging content.
