As a Loan Closing Specialist, you will manage the final and most important stage of the lending journey: closing. You will prepare, coordinate and complete single-family mortgage loan closings with accuracy, care and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.

Working closely with Lending, Finance, Compliance and Servicing teams, you will keep files moving, solve issues quickly and make sure every loan is ready to fund on time. This is a hands-on, varied position where your judgement and organisation really matter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a full pipeline of loans cleared to close
• Prepare closing disclosures and documentation within the Loan Operating System (Byte)
• Coordinate with settlement agents, real estate professionals and borrowers
• Review assets, income and credit conditions prior to closing
• Complete final quality checks before funding
• Support funding activities, wire requests and loan transmittals
• Process servicing exports and post-closing follow-ups
• Respond to borrower and partner queries clearly and professionally
• Provide cross-training and cover for colleagues when needed

The Person

The successful Loan Closing Specialist will bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in mortgage lending, banking or loan closing
• Strong knowledge of loan disclosures and closing documentation
• Experience using Byte or similar loan systems
• Excellent organisation and time management
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders
• A careful, methodical approach and respect for confidentiality
