Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems across domestic, agricultural and commercial buildings
  • Strong advocate and drive to ensure our health & safety first and foremost culture is embedded into day-to-day Installation processes
  • Adhere to all health and Safety legislation, consistently driving health and safety as priority responsibility throughout the installation department
  • Conduct Health and safety audits to ensure compliance and installation crews safety is priority first and foremost
  • Ensure that solar projects are executed with precision, adhering to stringent industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead the installation team to meet and exceed on KPI expectations
  • Estimate materials, equipment and personnel needed for installation projects
  • Co-ordinate schedules, installation teams, materials and addressing all on site issues that arise
  • Provide technical assistance to the installation teams, technicians and other solar professionals within the company
  • Develop initiatives to improve quality and efficiency processes
  • Drive company culture on high quality and consistently excellent attention to detail on the installation  
  • Act as a bridge between clients, engineers, and installation crews ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely and in compliance with industry standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, and partners by demonstrating expertise, professionalism, and responsiveness in all interactions
  • Continuously improve knowledge of company products, industry trends, and best practices
  • Conduct mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety with installations teams
  • Conduct weekly planning calls with appropriate installation team members and management
  • Coordinate weekly inspections of installations from quality and SEAI compliance perspective  

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a site manager or similar role
  • Excellent understanding of Irish regulations, SEAI grant schemes and renewable energy frameworks
  • Strong understanding of health & safety standards
  • Microsoft office and IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills and technical knowledge of solar energy systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong customer orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling and Working at Height certification
  • Full clean driver’s licence
