Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems across domestic, agricultural and commercial buildings
- Strong advocate and drive to ensure our health & safety first and foremost culture is embedded into day-to-day Installation processes
- Adhere to all health and Safety legislation, consistently driving health and safety as priority responsibility throughout the installation department
- Conduct Health and safety audits to ensure compliance and installation crews safety is priority first and foremost
- Ensure that solar projects are executed with precision, adhering to stringent industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead the installation team to meet and exceed on KPI expectations
- Estimate materials, equipment and personnel needed for installation projects
- Co-ordinate schedules, installation teams, materials and addressing all on site issues that arise
- Provide technical assistance to the installation teams, technicians and other solar professionals within the company
- Develop initiatives to improve quality and efficiency processes
- Drive company culture on high quality and consistently excellent attention to detail on the installation
- Act as a bridge between clients, engineers, and installation crews ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely and in compliance with industry standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, and partners by demonstrating expertise, professionalism, and responsiveness in all interactions
- Continuously improve knowledge of company products, industry trends, and best practices
- Conduct mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety with installations teams
- Conduct weekly planning calls with appropriate installation team members and management
- Coordinate weekly inspections of installations from quality and SEAI compliance perspective
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a site manager or similar role
- Excellent understanding of Irish regulations, SEAI grant schemes and renewable energy frameworks
- Strong understanding of health & safety standards
- Microsoft office and IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership skills and technical knowledge of solar energy systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong customer orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling and Working at Height certification
- Full clean driver’s licence
