Refrigeration Engineer–£46,000-£48,000– North Yorkshire

The Role

Are you a skilled, CO2 trained Refrigeration Engineer with extensive experience in the supermarket refrigeration sector? Do you have a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are an independent commercial refrigeration and air conditioning company, looking to appoint experienced refrigeration engineer for the North Yorkshire / Middlesbrough area.

You will be responsible for providing a high standard of service to our clients across the supermarket refrigeration sector.

This is a full-time position, working 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability and standby rota work required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend reactive service call.
• Conduct PPM works at customer sites.
• Attend emergency callouts within SLA.
• Report any additional works required for the continued reliability of customer assets.
• Work towards achieving a First fix where possible.
• Ensure a high working standard.
• Maintain stock, tools, and equipment.
• Comply with all Health and Safety working practices and procedures.

The company is split into two divisions and specialises in commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning, offering solutions to almost any situation.

Currently operating in the supermarket refrigeration sector on Aldi, Costco, McColls and Morrisons Daily contracts.

The Person

• CO2 trained.
• Valid UK driver's license.
• Time served experience as a Refrigeration Engineer.
• C&G 2079 / F- GAS.
• Strong communication skills and work ethic.
• Awareness and knowledge of Health & Safety.
• Fully conversant with all major manufacturers systems and equipment.
• Part of standby rota.
