Dataforth Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team in Tucson, AZ.

This is a hands-on position where you will design, develop and support high-reliability signal conditioning and data acquisition products used worldwide.

You will play a key role in the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to manufacturing and field support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design analog circuits involving operational amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and isolation methods.
  • Implement mixed-signal designs using A/D and D/A converters.
  • Contribute to system-level product design including packaging and interconnects.
  • Ensure compliance with EMC and hazardous location standards.
  • Build, test, and characterize prototypes for performance validation.
  • Manage assigned projects with ownership and accountability.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams during product launch and provide ongoing support.

The Person

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a closely related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on analog, mixed-signal, and power circuit design and analysis.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex circuits and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Proficiency with standard laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a specialization in analog/mixed-signal circuits. (Preferred)
  • Experience designing for EMC compliance and/or hazardous locations. (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with PCB layout considerations for high-performance circuits. (Preferred)
