We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Family Law team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interfacing – Conduct client intake and communicate with clients throughout their case.
  • Document Preparation and Management – Draft and manage correspondence, pleadings and other legal documents.
  • Court Filings and Procedures – E-file legal documents with the courts and ensure compliance with procedural rules.
  • Calendar Management - Maintain and manage attorneys' calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings.
  • Administrative Support - Provide general administrative support, such as answering phones, filing, and photocopying.
  • Maintain confidentiality.

The Person

Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant (Family Law experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong technology skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and handle tasks proactively.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks and Chester Counties.
  • Strong understanding of family law procedures and documentation.
  • Familiarity with legal case management and/or document management software.
