As a Catholic Administrative Religious Education Coordinator, you will play an important part in supporting the delivery of Catholic Religious Education programmes and community activities. You’ll work closely with the Senior Priest and Religious Education leads to keep everything planned, prepared and ready to run.

This is a hands-on, varied position where no two weeks look the same. One day you might be preparing materials for classes, the next organising events or updating sacramental records. Your work ensures every programme runs smoothly and every participant feels welcomed and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend monthly meetings with the Senior Priest to gather programme information
  • Produce and distribute a monthly Religious Education calendar
  • Prepare facility reservation requests and event documentation
  • Create flyers and publicity materials for services and events
  • Track and report weekly attendance for Religious Education programmes
  • Organise curriculum materials, supplies and classroom set-up
  • Reset learning spaces after sessions
  • Monitor and report used materials and supplies
  • Collect and prepare sacramental documentation and maintain accurate AMS records

The Person:

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Is organised, dependable and able to work independently
  • Communicates clearly in writing and in person
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Is comfortable working in a military and multi-faith environment
  • Demonstrates professionalism, courtesy and respect at all times
  • Can obtain Catechist certification within 90 days
  • Has experience in religious or community programme support (military experience welcomed but not essential)
