About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Quality Control Officer to join our team in Clacton-on-Sea. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of goods in our warehouse, managing incoming shipments, and providing support across various operational functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Goods-in Quality Control (QC) checks on incoming containers to ensure product quality and accuracy.
  • Conduct stock investigations based on feedback from refunds or product damage reports and raise any issues with the suppliers using CAPS.
  • Create and send Container Reports for each delivery, documenting key details.
  • Implement corrective actions for goods in, including relabelling of incorrect products and correcting barcodes in the OMS for proper scanning.
  • Manage QC issues, and credit claims with suppliers, in collaboration with the Merchandising Team.
  • Quarantine faulty stock and take appropriate corrective actions, such as reworking products for resale or sending them to the Returns Unit for clearance.
  • Respond promptly to customer service requests and queries, including email correspondence.
  • Maintain the CSR (Customer Service Request) Records, ensuring Customer Services have a comprehensive database of responses to previous requests and queries.
  • Support the packing team with goods-out inspections and product verifications.
  • Collaborate with the stock control team on projects such as relabelling stock for items split into component codes.
  • Work closely with the content team, providing product images and measurements.
  • Liaise with merchandising and factory QC teams to resolve product issues and create packaging specifications.
  • Assist with customer parts requests and record all tasks and issues in QMS (Quality Management System). 

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in quality control or warehouse operations is desirable.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using software such as Airtable, OMS systems, and QMS systems
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to resolving challenges.
